Little Flower Students and Staff Give Back to the Community with Service Days
At Little Flower Catholic School, students and staff are showing their appreciation for the support they receive from the community by launching a series of "Community Give Back Days" this school year. These special days offer opportunities for our school family to actively serve and help the community around us.
The first Community Give Back Day took place on September 11th, where students and staff volunteered their time at the Prairie Village Pumpkin Patch. The students worked diligently, spending the afternoon weeding, painting and varnishing, and assisting with the organization of a mass mailing. Their hard work and dedication reflected our school’s mission to not only learn and grow together but also to give back to those who support us.
Throughout the school year, Little Flower students and staff will continue to devote time to serving the community during three of our early dismissal days. These service projects are designed to foster a sense of pride in helping others, while reinforcing the values of generosity and compassion that are central to our faith and school culture.
We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a school and give back, and we look forward to the next opportunity to serve and strengthen our connection with the wider community.
