LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday night we had a chance to gather with friends, family and community supporters at the Annual LFS Dine and Bid Event. What an event it was! Our school cannot thank all those that donated to the event enough for showing your support for the students we support each and every day at our school. An event like this just isn't possible without the strength of the community we are fortunate to be apart of. A big reason for that is because of the volunteers that worked tirelessly well over the last month to pull it all together. Thank you!

If you didn't get a chance to come, make sure to check out our new video overview of the school. Mrs. Fritel was able to take some time throughout the last couple of weeks to capture the daily life, mission and pride that we have here at LFS. Make sure to take a moment and thank her for sharing her amazing talents in creating our new school video.

Students and Staff participated in a Veterans Day project to round out our week of learning. Mr. Leier gave a great presentation on what it means to be a Veteran, along with, talking about 7 different branches of the United States Military. Students also worked together to make Veterans Day thank you cards that will be shipped to service men and women both in our community and on active duty. It was a very fun day celebrating the people who protect and defend our country!
